Beam/System-Test Analysis

This sub-group provides ORCA software tools for the analysis of tracker beam/system-test data. (Though currently no pixel software is available). It has the long term aim of providing all the Data-Handling software needed to read out the final CMS Tracker, with the exception of Monitoring/Calibration software which is the responsibility of the Monitoring sub-group. It work therefore includes: refining the beam/system-test analysis software and simulations; providing the software needed for ORCA to read the cabling map and to make RawDigis persistent; and testing tracking, alignment and monitoring software in collaboration. The respective tasks of the two Data-Handling sub-groups are described on the main Data-Handling web page.
